Make your own jewelry cleaner

Writer: Caroline RanoiaCaroline Ranoia

Not high on my priority list is going to the jeweler to get my jewels cleaned so I decided to create my own jewelry cleaner and it is an easy DIY!

In a small bowl mix:

1/2 cup warm water

1 Tablespoon white vinegar

2 drops of lemon essential oil

Bristle brush

Cloth: Lint free

To make:

In a small bowl add the warm water, white vinegar, and lemon essential oil, mix well. Soak jewelry for about 5 minutes. Scrub clean with the soft bristle brush and pat dry with a soft lint free cloth - that's it!

Remember you'll still want to go to the jewelers once a year have your jewelry inspected, but this is a great way to maintain the shine!
